This is my first one so I hope a did everything right. I love Law and Order SVU especially holding my baby and just relaxing after a tough week. That really leads into my loving. I love the weekend. I got inspired for a tpt packet by my students. I hope to finish it very soon and I hope you will love it too! I got hooked on a new series at my school's book fair (Always a very expensive event for a bibliophile!) and I am almost done. Then I get to start a few books on my kindle. My back has been killing me since the birth of my third son. I would LOVE a massage (preferably a professional, but I will take any one I can get).I am not Italian but I love the Calzones and Cannolis at a place that is about a mile away. I am hooked which is bad since I am allergic to almost everything in it. One thing I try to teach my students is that they should take responsibility for their actions no matter what. Most of the time it is for their homework. They want to tell me that "Mom forgot it." or "Mom didn't put it in my bookbag". I really am very lenient on homework especially with 1st graders. I have them change it to a "I" statement and remind them of their responsibility. Then we move on. Hopefully they will learn to take responsibility with larger things if I do not stress them over little things.

Hi Crystal,
ReplyDeleteThis "Currently" was my first one too! Hopefully, we both did okay with it! Wow! 3 boys, teaching, blogging, and creating for TPT? How do you fit it all in? You must be one of those people who don't need sleep that I talked about in my "Currently"!
Happy Weekend!
Cathy
I don't get sleep with a 5 month old. I have very little for TPT right now. With the one I am working on I get two pages done on the Saturday and Sunday. It is slow going, not like those that get a huge packet done in one snow day!
DeleteRunaway King? LIke from Jennifer Nielsen? Scholastic had it already (it only came out yesterday!) or was it another kind of fair? Fellow bibliophiles want to know!
ReplyDeleteWell. I need to get off the computer and get to the gym. Been using way too many cop-outs for that lately. "I'm tired." "I'm still recovering." (Had my appendix out ... FIVE WEEKS ago so i can't use that any more!) "But blogging and blog-stalking is more fun!"
Amazon sent it to me the day it came out. My son got a hold of it since I was reading Berlin Boxing Club. Now I have it and am really enjoying it.
DeleteLove your Like, Love, Hate! You just made me hungry! Girl, I hate a cop-out! Need to look into The Runaway King! Happy Saturday!
