I was finally able to get some great activities printed and laminated over spring break. First up is Birthday Bump by Kathy Law. You can find your own copy here! http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Birthday-BUMP-Adding-Doubles
I like this version because it uses cards. The students pick a card and figure out the doubles fact answer! Then they cover that square
The directions call for cubes, but I had my students use counters instead. If the other student gets the same answer, they bump the first one off. However if there are two markers on that square, it is safe. The first one to use all ten of their counters is the winner!
My students love the bump games and this was a great addition to our collections! Kathy also has some bump games for sale. I may have to look into them! Stay tuned for another find tomorrow!
I am one away from 100 as I write this. If you can contribute to my giveaway, I would be grateful! Fill out my google doc! I added some giveaways to the giveaway tab check it out!!
